DORA - Escape into Music

In Croatia, composer Dora Pejačević (1885–1923) is almost as well known as Mozart, but outside her homeland she has been largely forgotten. Although her works were performed in many European cities during her lifetime, they disappeared from concert programs after her early death. OPUS KLASSIK award winners Kyra Steckeweh and Tim van Beveren set out on a search for traces of the composer's life and paint a portrait of an extraordinary woman in a glamorous yet turbulent era in European history.
