Camargue – Zwischen Himmel und Meer

Philippe Rollin has been working as a mussel fisherman in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer for decades. The Camargue, the endless white beaches on the Mediterranean and the small colorful mussels are his life. This marine treasure is theoretically under strict protection: strictly regulated fishing seasons, catch quotas and clear regulations on the size of the mussels that can be caught – but not everyone sticks to them.
