Liedestoll - The Documentation

"Liedestoll" - the name says it all. In fall 2013, mezzo-soprano Angelika Kirchschlager and singer Konstantin Wecker will embark on an international concert tour together. A spectacular cross-over project with jazz, classical song and Wecker classics. In addition to the concert recording, the documentary shows the two artists during intensive rehearsals with the Spring String Quartet and Jo Barnikel. How do two exceptional artists from completely different fields approach each other until they finally leave their genres behind and achieve a synergy? The Süddeutsche Zeitung writes: "Then they sing the ‛Erlkönig', Kirchschlager colors Wecker's Brunst in autumn, it gets rough and cold, really good."
