An unbeatable duo in a family film that is as touching as it is entertaining, with an optimistic message

The eleven-year-old Zuzia is full of dreams. However, her heart condition limits her in many aspects of life. When her parents learn that an operation at a clinic in Switzerland could help their daughter, they do everything they can to raise the necessary money. At first, all their efforts seem to be in vain. Then one day, Zuzia befriends a snow-white German Shepherd named Lampo, and soon the already turbulent life of the entire family is turned upside down. This heartwarming family film about an extraordinary dog is based on a true story and tells an emotional tale of courage, hope, and solidarity. Featuring stunning landscape cinematography that provides the backdrop for its likable characters and their moving experiences, director Magdalena Nieć’s film appeals to both children and adults alike. At the SCHLiNGEL International Film Festival, it won both the European Children’s Film Award and the German Children’s Jury Prize.
