In 1970, Philippe and Louise, a couple from mainland France who had just arrived in Réunion, decided to explore the legendary Piton de la Fournaise. But this volcano, still little known and surrounded by local superstitions, had many surprises in store for them. Between hostile nature and unlikely encounters, their excursion turned into a fantastic adventure.
