The Peppercorns

Lou has just moved from London to Hamburg and is visiting her mother's new boyfriend, Sven, at his fish stand. Suddenly, regular customer Ilse Lüders collapses. While Sven and new Pfefferkorn Jonny are still deciding what to do, Lou reacts immediately with a heart massage and orders Jonny to find the nearest defibrillator. She actually manages to resuscitate Ilse Lüders – and Jonny knows instinctively: Lou would be a great Pfefferkorn! The two have no idea that they will meet again at school the next day. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Ms. Lüders is being treated for dementia and is said to have overdosed on her medication. The old lady denies this and claims that she has been poisoned. Lou, her sister Pippa, Jonny, Tarun and Clarissa are facing their first tricky case.
