The Peppercorns

At school, Lilly and Yeliz watch as Pia, the headmaster's daughter, picks a fight with Therese, who is from Togo. When the two girls go to visit Therese at her home for her birthday, they find an empty apartment. A neighbor tells them that Therese and her mother left the apartment in a hurry shortly after Pia paid them a visit. While Lilly and Yeliz are observing Pia's house, Marie overhears Pia's phone call in which she demands 500 euros from Therese and her mother Essi, or she will report the two to the immigration authorities because they are in Germany without a residence permit. Karol and Lilly report Pia's father at school about his daughter's blackmail attempt. However, he doesn't believe them and throws them out. The other Pfefferkörner then tell Yeliz's mother about the case, and she rushes to Pia's house immediately. The money is already being handed over there, but the situation escalates. Since Therese's mother cannot raise the full amount of money and Pia therefore wants to call the police, Therese threatens to cut her wrists.
