The Peppercorns

When a black man is hit by a car in the Speicherstadt, the Pfefferkörner are on the trail of criminals who supply counterfeit medicines to Africa. As the Pfefferkörner quickly find out, the black man is a journalist from Kenya who has fallen into mortal danger while doing research in the port of Hamburg. While fleeing from the gangsters, the black journalist left his backpack with evidence in the Teekontor. The peppercorns start investigating, but soon Lilly and Karol are surprised by the smugglers while snooping and locked in the storerooms. But Yeliz and Laurenz set out to free their friends. Marie, who has had to stay at home with chickenpox, is threatened by the gangsters, who want the journalist's backpack in order to destroy the evidence against them.
