Sort Of

The captivating comedy series about genderqueer millennial Sabi is entering its second season. As a non-binary nanny working part-time, the child of Pakistani immigrants, and a bartender at a hip queer bookstore with an integrated bar, Sabi is still on a confusing quest to find their true self and their place in the world. “Sort of...” – “one of the most wonderful series gems of recent years,” according to epd Film. “Anyone who doesn't know ”Sort Of" yet – and there are definitely too many of them in our neck of the woods! – has definitely missed out. The first season focused on self-discovery: ending toxic relationships, revealing their true self to their mother (Ellora Patnaik), at least, and experiencing moments of stability and responsibility through a job as a nanny. But in the eight new episodes, which the showrunners have once again produced with a diverse team in front of and behind the camera, Sabi now faces a multitude of changes that bring with them entirely new difficulties.
