The Peppercorns

An accident involving a parked car leads Karol to a spectacular theft of a painting. Karol is absolutely certain that he saw a copy of a famous painting by Caspar David Friedrich in the car. Shortly afterwards, the copy was exchanged for the original in the museum – unnoticed by everyone! A key role in the theft seems to be played by an artist who is able to perfectly copy valuable paintings. When Karol and the other Pfefferkörner learn that the young artist is addicted to gambling and was forced by a criminal club owner to take part in the theft, they want to teach the client a lesson...
