Claire and the Elderly

After a distress call to save her drug-addicted mother, 9-years-old Claire is taken into the care of social services. She quickly ended up with the only family she has left: her grandmother Pauline. Overnight, Claire finds herself living in a residence for the elderly. Over the days, despite the obstacles, she slowly develops a special bond with her grandma and befriends several elders. She marks the spirits with her great imagination and her ability to make people laugh. She hangs on to the affection and stability that older people give her, but the situation is only temporary… Following her mother’s hospitalization, Claire is taken to her grandmother Pauline’s residence by Greg, her social worker. Most residents are happy to meet the girl, but not all the employees.
