Manni is struggling with his old self, killer Manni. Working as a contract killer is no longer for him: the tough jobs, the physical exertion and the late hours. Life as a killer is killing him. He is looking for a new job. Then suddenly his past comes knocking, too. His partner in crime, his former best friend, is back on the scene: Iwan Meierle still has a score to settle with Manni. Fresh out of prison, Iwan warns Manni with a few pig ears that he puts in Manni's letterbox, triggering old memories of his betrayal and a deep sense of guilt. And this guilt comes to the surface in Manni as a second personality: Mathieu. Mathieu is the opposite of Manni: empathetic, peaceful and a yogi. The enemy within or a friend after all? What is to become of the two or three of them? Iwan feels betrayed, is deeply disappointed and no longer trusts Manni. Kranitz has to help while he still can. Iwan is threatening: one of them won't leave the session alive.
