During the early years of his daughter Anna’s life, Mark proved himself to be a true picture-perfect father and stay-at-home dad. Now that she’s started school, he’s venturing back into the workforce—starting with part-time work—but will continue to care for his child at the same time, since his wife Judith is just really taking off in her career as a doctor at the hospital. Unfortunately, at his old employer, Mark finds himself at the bottom of the corporate food chain and under the authority of his boss, Ms. Winter—a woman who’s hard to get along with and who doesn’t really show any understanding for Mark’s personal situation and the work schedule that comes with it. It doesn’t take long before he finds himself in the same situation as many working women: the double burden is taking its toll, and he isn’t getting the recognition he deserves.
